The Fringe is a showcase for the local talent of West Berkshire and North Hants; something for every member of the family, in the very heart of Newbury.
It's all centered on major locations in the town and free of charge, with live performances, workshops, art and craft demonstrations, poetry, hands-on mural painting and activities for children.
There was music to suit all ages and all tastes, classical in the Corn Exchange, folk and Monkey Music in the Kennet Centre and rock, pop and jazz on the Bandstand.
This is a free festival thanks to the generosity of all the sponsors, artists, performers and volunteer stewards.
Don't miss next year's Fringe - Sunday 29th May 2005.
