Rob ReynoldsRob Reynolds

Rob Reynolds "sings the blues, like a downtrodden Mississippi Delta man at his church, or sat on the sidewalk of Beale Street". Yosaka

Accompanied only by his acoustic guitar Rob's voice has that powerful quality that makes a festival great.

4:40pm
Mike Henson

Mike is an accomplished singer-songwriter and performer, bringing his infectious mix of funky acoustic lead melodies and powerful vocal delivery to the acoustic stage. His very gifted side-kick, Chris Secker, will be appearing on bass. (Try getting these tunes out of you head!).

5:15pm
Anna NealeAnna Neale

Returning to the Fringe for a second year. Anna Neale's exceptional performances have attracted the attention of an increasing number of fans with her live, TV and
radio performances.

Anna has performed her unique blend of acoustic rock with gutsy soul simplicity all over the UK and Ireland.

Her career is now moving to a new level including showcasing at In the City, Manchester, being a regular main stage performer at the Edinburgh Fringe and a showcase at SXSW in Austin, Texas. Anna has just been listed for the National Student music awards.

5:40pm
John DredgeJohn Dredge

John writes bittersweet songs of melodic depth with elegant tunes and sensitive, insightful lyrics, and sings in a plaintive and affecting style. He has recently played two acoustic sessions on BBC London and his new single A Star is Bored is about the death of Elvis, and is accompanied by a highly amusing video. His website at www.johndredge.com also includes cartoons, interviews, and detailed yet incomprehensible information.

6pm
Simon ScardinelliSimon Scardinelli

A welcome return for the guitarist, singer, writer
and performer who has constantly bucked the trend, Scardanelli's
songs combine gritty realism with soaring melody and quirky English eccentricity. Currently on tour promoting his new album HOBOHEMIA.

"Simon Scardanelli is completely individual and utterly uncompromising. His dynamic performance takes you on musical journeys through seedy underbellies to profound ruminations. An expert guitarist with a unique voice, Simon has talent in abundance but his ability to make a stage his own is a strength unparalleled by most performers." - Oscar Cainer

Mosaic

Formed in May 2004 out of the Guildford area producing guitar led melodies and thought provoking lyrics.

7:20pm
Aden PearceAden Pearce

Fringe regular Aden Pearce will present a strong acoustic set, lyrics sung with powerful style. Newbury-based Aden is clearly an incredibly talented guitarist, whizzing his fingers up and down the fretboard on his 12-string guitar.

"An acoustic singer/songwriter mixing David Gray style melodies with more than a hint of Richard Ashcroft."

7:45pm
Dan ChurchDan Church
Cousteau's ex drummer Dan Church has released his first debut album - Middle Class White Boy which smacks into the heart of flamboyant Pop/Rock. The title single recently appeared on the Midem emerging British Artists CD

8:10pm
Andy StedmanAndy Stedman

Andy is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, music promoter, writer and occasional compere. His main love however is writing and performing his music, and his work has been described as "tracing a line through a lineage of great English songwriters - Ray Davies, Damon Albarn, Elvis Costello and Paul Weller." americana-uk.com

Whilst studying in Southern California Andy played in his first bands, and also studied Screen writing and Creative Writing. He was lucky enough to have as a teacher one of Hollywood's major players from the 50's and 60's, who really liked Andy's writing style. "He made sure we portrayed everyday things in a different, non-cliched way, and that we thought about why we were writing what we were writing".

Andy enjoys playing solo as he is tonight, "Playing with Sequoia is the best feeling, but on your own you can do whatever you want and you don't have to worry about anyone else. I plan to do more recordings with both solo and Sequoia projects." Acoustic Fridays is Andy's baby, as he promotes the MTV Unplugged style night one Friday a month in Farnham. With more poetry on the way, and more songs, he is a busy bloke!

8:35pm
Kate WalshKate Walsh

Kate Walsh, possessed of a lyrical quality beyond her years, was discovered in Crouch, Essex, by producer Lee Russell. He noticed her amazing potential and secured her in an immediate publishing deal with Warner Chappell.

Lee encouraged Kate to sing her songs and enhanced the stunning simplicity of her lyrics. This lead to a deal with Kitchenware Records, a label long known for working with great singer-songwriters. The result was Clocktower Park.

Armed with a guitar and a bottle of Souther Comfort, Kate Walsh is one from the heart. A voice so pure and unaffected it leaves you breathless and suspended in a place that only she can take you to.
