Art on the Park
Newbury's unique showcase of original work by local artists and craftspeople.
10am - 4pm Sunday 29th May accompanied by live music from the Bandstand.
Also Sunday 28th August 2005 - accompanied by East Woodhay Silver Band.
Affordable original paintings, framed or just mounted, hung from the railings of Victoria Park. 'One off' ceramics, original wood work designs, jewellery and other handicrafts. Browse at leisure, chat to the artists and maybe pick up a bargain. No pressure to purchase - this is an exhibition of local talent as well as a social occasion for art lovers.
Now in its 8th year, this Parisian style art exhibition attracts established professional as well as amateur painters. It is also an opportunity for talented post graduates to get a public reaction to their work and to get to know local artists.
