Thank you!

On behalf of the organising committee I should like to thank everyone who participated in the Newbury Fringe Festival 2005, giving their time, talents or equipment to make a most successful two days of music, dance, and visual arts and crafts. A special thank you to the Town Twinning Association for making it possible for us to experience the fabulous sight and sounds of Gruppo Sbandieratori the Feltre flag wavers.

The festival would not be possible without the kind cooperation, encouragement and support of a great many people; it is a splendid community event. We are particularly indebted to those people who generously gave their time as stewards, and the cadets of 16 Platoon, the Army Cadets, Thatcham for helping get all the equipment in place.

We also acknowledge with gratitude the financial assistance of Greenham Common Trust, Vodafone, West Berkshire District Council, Newbury Town Council and Cannons Fitness Centre. We are equally grateful for the donations of materials and services by Hogan Music, C Brewer & Sons Ltd, , the Newbury Weekly News, The Corn Exchange, New Greenham Arts, Kennet Shopping, Newbury Town Hall, Thames Trains, Reading Buses, WebCAL Internet Services and West Berkshire Volunteer Centre.

Finally, thanks to those people who attended and contributed so generously to the collections. We do hope that everyone enjoyed the Newbury Fringe Festival 2005 and we look forward to seeing you again on Sunday May 28, 2006.
