Following on from their sell-out success at New Greenham Arts local jazz band Gail Hendrickx Jazz Experience and supporting bands are planning a fantastic afternoon of cool jazz.
Gail Hendrickx teamed up with Newbury guitarist Gavin Wilkinson to form Gail Hendrickx Jazz Experience. The line up of the band is constantly changing and their music evolving as a result.
Collaborating with trumpeter Radim Knapp, Gail has written lyrics for many of his original compositions, some of which they will present for us at the Fringe as a preview to the new album they will record in Prague during this summer.

Gail Hendrickx (vocals)George Millard is a 15 year old student from St. Bart's School Newbury with "amazing potential". Gail's daughter Maia joins her on vocals.
Radim Knapp worked in Newbury for two years and joined Gail on trumpet, introducing her to the rest of the band who hail from the Czech Republic where the band had a very successful tour in August 2005.
Come along to the Corn Exchange and be prepared for Gail's special recipe of cool jazz. Expect to be thoroughly entertained by the Jazz Experience with two support bands and a host of guest spots.
