Festival Chairman says 'Thank you'
On behalf of the organising committee I should like to thank everyone who participated in the Newbury Fringe Festival 2006, giving their time, talents or equipment to make a most successful two days of music, dance, and visual arts and crafts.
The festival would not be possible without the kind cooperation, encouragement and support of a great many people; it is a splendid community event. We are particularly indebted to those people who generously gave their time as stewards.
We also acknowledge with gratitude the financial assistance of Gardner Leader, Greenham Common Trust, Newbury Town Council, Quantel, RPS Transport, Shearer Property Group, Vodafone and West Berkshire District Council.
We are equally grateful for the donations of materials and services by C Brewer & Sons Ltd, The Corn Exchange, Desmoulin Gallery, Hogan Music, Kennet Horse Boat Company, Kennet Shopping, New Greenham Arts, Newbury Central Library, Newbury Town Hall, Newbury Weekly News, Richard Phillips Photography, Volunteer Centre West Berkshire, WebCAL Internet Services and West Berkshire Brewery.
Finally, thanks to those people who attended and contributed so generously to the collections. We do hope that everyone enjoyed the Newbury Fringe Festival 2006 and we look forward to seeing you again on Sunday May 27, 2007.
