Canal cruising
In today's hectic environment there is little time to appreciate the beauty of the countryside and the slower pace of yesteryear. Canal cruises offer an opportunity to do just that.
The Kennet Horse Boat Company will be running 1 hour return boat trips along the canal from Newbury Wharf at 12 noon, 2pm and 4 pm.
The cost will be £5.00 per adult and £3.50 per child or OAP.
After your cruise on the K&A visit Victoria Park and see John Rouse painting canalware in the traditional style as seen on the 'Avon'.
