Museum Tour Guide competition
A chance to bring museum objects to life with your sparkling personality!

Competition rules
- Competitors may be aged 7-18yrs at the time of the competition
- Competitors will meet their judges in the Museum at 1pm and be briefed on their task. They will be given guidance on how best to complete it
- The competitors' task will be to guide a small group to three objects in the Museum, giving brief information on each one
- Competitors will need to bring pencils and note books in which to make brief notes
- All information about the objects can be found out on the day
- Winners of all competitions will be decided on the day and awarded their trophies and prizes at 5pm on the bandstand in Victoria Park
- Neither West Berkshire Council nor Newbury Fringe Festival will take responsibility for the supervision of competitors. Parents and guardians are welcome to watch the competition taking place and, along with the judges, be part of the small guided group
