Debbie HearnDebbie Hearn is a member of the Guild of Food Writers and the founder of the Big Little Fruit Campaign, which highlights heritage culinary fruits. She judged the Tastiest Apple at the National Fruit Show in Kent in 2006, but her love of food is homegrown: She was brought up in Kintbury and still lives locally.

Debbie’s great-grandfather sold hot faggots and peas in Newbury’s Bartholomew Street in the 1930’s, so her Victoria Park debut is firmly on home ground. She is the main freelance food correspondent for the Newbury Weekly News and takes on an eclectic range of assignments for the press, TV and radio and has even recorded a podcast for food lovers. For 'Food at The Fringe', she’s very much a live performer, sharing her enthusiasm for local food and the people whose skills deliver what West Berkshire eats.
