Feed the Addiction
The young 3-piece began in mid-January 2006. It took the band a short while to come up with the right name for the band, but roughly a month later they settled on Feed the Addiction.
With James Haynes on Guitar/Vocals, Richard Rowe on Drums, and Craig Townsend on Bass the band have produced a 10 track demo album entitled 'Keep it Comin', recorded at Ford Fields Studio in July 2006. Also during July 2006 Feed the Addiction won Andover Battle of the Bands, and then as a result of this played to over 2000 people at Vigo Park later that month.
Over the few months since then the band have played a few various venues including The Amey Theatre in Abingdon, and the Fleece and Firkin in Bristol. The band are now currently on the lookout for more gigs to promote their album, and will be producing and recording new material in the new year.

Mind Overtime
Mind Overtime formed in 2002 at Reading College, Berkshire, UK. The band draws influence from bands such as Biffy Clyro, Aereogramme, Deftones, Amplifier, Oceansize, Sonic Youth, Dark Star, Nirvana, Mudhoney and Silverchair to name but a few. Mind Overtime was initially put together purely for the sake of killing time during lunch breaks at college.
The original line-up consisted of only two people; Tom Cox (formerly of Wreck Ignition) on Guitar / Vocals and Paul Hopgood on Drums. The duo recorded their first EP entitled "Sent Weeping" approx. 6 months after formation. Sensing they could make a go of it seriously, Mind Overtime recruited bassist and fellow college classmate Stuart Creedy and subsequently recorded their second EP entitled "Idea's" in summer 2003. Shortly after which Stuart was forced to leave as he lived too far away to stay devoted to the band. By this point the band were well rehearsed and were looking to gig at any given opportunity.
As a temporary measure they recruited Whispering Knees / The Benefit frontman Joe Lawrence to help out on bass for 2 or 3 gigs. After Joe inevitably left, Scott Lippett, an old school friend of Tom's joined as bassist for approx. 7 gigs. After which he left due to musical differences. Tired of never having a reliable solid band foundation, Tom and Paul decided to end Mind Overtime in 2004 and form an entirely new band with an entirely new sound; The Harry Macintosh Project. This gave Tom and Paul the chance to gig, record and build up a good reputation in and around Berkshire.
Summer 2005 saw Tom and Paul yearning to get back to basics and reform Mind Overtime. This time around they found a reliable, solid and devoted bassist; Gareth Shone. Ever since the reformation Mind Overtime have been going from strength to strength, with a new EP currently in the works and a whole host of new material, the band are looking forward to developing and playing more gigs.

Seven Days Til Sunday
Seven Days Til Sunday, recently formed around the song-writing talents of Charley Bickers, a band that straddles the fault-line that exists between the shadowy underworlds of Thom Yorke's Radiohead and Richard Ashcrofts The Verve.
A six piece, boasting the dual-jousting of Charley Bickers on lead acoustic/vocals and Bethany Porter on cello, backed by the sumptuous piano playing of Chris Winfield-Chislett, their music has been described as "cinematic", "atmospheric" and "goosebump-inducing".
The subtle lead guitar of "Big Dave Knights and the rhythm section of Jim-O Hillier on bass/backing vocals plus Denby Sweeting on drums, completes the Seven Days Til Sunday sound, which is, in a word, unique.
"This six-piece from Bath produces goosebump-inducing cinematic sounds with a strong orchestral element, and is causing a real stir in the industry". bbc.co.uk
"a few bars into Seven Days Til Sundays opening song Switch on the Radio and I understood the growing hype that's springing up around this band decode magazine
"a great voice, atmospheric songs, beautiful arrangements" moles club reviews.

Sky Babies
Sky Babies are a local rock 'n' roll band who released their second CD, 'A Year of Living Dangerously' in May 2006. After playing many gigs around Berkshire and forming a strong, local fan base, they are ready to go everywhere with their new line-up. Lance and Chris share guitar and vocal duties, with new additions, bassist Skinny Pete and Fil Satan on drums.
'A Year of Living Dangerously' tells tales of wasted weekends, destructive relationships and finding salvation in sound. Taking influences from their favourite bands, including The Wildhearts, Supersuckers, Steve Earle and a healthy dose of the Beach Boys. Passionate and dedicated to the music they make, Sky Babies are fired up for the future of the band.
Simon Scardanelli
We are very pleased to have Simon returning to this year's festival
A welcome return for the guitarist, singer, writer and performer who has constantly bucked the trend, Scardanelli's songs combine gritty realism with soaring melody and quirky English eccentricity.
'Simon Scardanelli is completely individual and utterly uncompromising. His dynamic performance takes you on musical journeys through seedy underbellies to profound ruminations. An expert guitarist with a unique voice, Simon has talent in abundance but his ability to make a stage his own is a strength unparalleled by most performers.' - Oscar Cainer.
Life at The Pines
We come from the cute town of Tenby in South West Wales and are currently scattered around different parts of the UK.
Last year our ambitions were to 1. Record some music. 2. Get played on the radio and 3. Do as many live performances as possible. The result? We recorded in Ray Davis's Konk studios, played live on Radio Berkshire and Pembrokeshire and managed 30 live performances - Blenheim Palace, Tenby Blues Festival and Stroud Festival being the highlights.
Our ambitions for 2007 are: 1. To play as many festivals possible. 2. To record and release an album. 3. Make a music video. Our take on music is that it should be fun. This isn't to say we don't like practicing or writing the odd sombre song now and then but we believe there's too many bands who take themselves and their music too seriously. The world doesn't need any more!

Hansolo
Hansolo was born in 2005. Still unsure of what it wants to achieve in life it has been dipping it's toes in the waters of a variety of different musical genres. Finally it is beginning to find its feet and evolve into something truly unique.
"...sounds cool, uplifting and quite epic with a dance groove as well?! Well played!" Mark Williams (producer, Oceansize, Yourcodenameis:Milo)
"Combining impressive stage presence with individual style and evident musical skill, they began their set jerking like mariners tossed on a sea of sound and sailed the ambient waves through to a graceful and well peddled finish. I have rarely been so impressed by an unsigned band; www.myspace.com/hansolo - check'm out." - Amber Donebauer, @ Pressure Point
"Hansolo are one of the most exciting new rock bands in the UK and I'm sure they will attract a lot of attention in 2007" - Mark, RSW Concerts
"I'm not entirely sure who was more impressed by Hansolo's performance last night - the band or the audience...they did a pretty good job enticing an ever-growing fond audience to the front to play their beautiful brand of shouty-thinky rock...It's hard to say which genre they would fit into, with breakdowns and choruses like the ones they're mixing up you can't really tell...The main thing is that they ruled, and did it with massive amounts of grace and style" - Clarrizle, deviantART - Online review
