There will be music at the Bandstand, Arts and Crafts workshops in Victoria Park. A full afternoon's dance programme will once again take place in the Kennet Shopping Centre. Gail Hendrickx is back again in Bar 1861 at the Corn Exchange presenting four hours of cool laid-back jazz. New this year is food at The Fringe; the Art of Cookery and an extra evening of music at Eve Bar Bistro on Sunday.
Last year we sent the Icknield Way Morris Men Out on Tour around the residential homes of Newbury, to take The Fringe experience to those who couldn't easily get into the town. They're back again this year with their lively music, traditional dance and mischievous sense of fun.
Artists are also back on the rails! Art on the Park will once again be displaying original artworks for display and to buy. Talk to the artists and discuss their work in Park Way. Parisienne style art in Newbury.
Fancy a cruise on the canal? The Kennet Horse Boat Company will once again be offering cruises on the Kennet & Avon Canal on their traditionally decorated historic narrow boat 'Avon'.
